Availability of comprehensive, up-to-date, and accurate information on posting rules, delivered in user-friendly mediums, is essential to enforcing compliance with such regulations. Yet, to date, there are no systematic assessments on the state of information provision regarding posting. To add new knowledge on this issue, in this INFO-POW policy brief, we ask the following questions: What are common information gaps in posting, why do they matter, and how to address them? We present original cross-national data which maps extant information channels on posting from five countries: Austria, Belgium, Italy, Slovakia, and Slovenia. Based on our comparative analysis, we identify and suggest pathways in which information gaps and shortcomings can be resolved.
